In the diesels now . The 7 speed dry clutch is more economical I believe which is used in some Octavia's and the Yeti 1.2tsi. Indeed the wet clutch 6 speed is the oldest DSG and is rated to 350Nm torque. The dry clutch 7 speed is limited to around 250Nm so is only found on small diesels and the lower torque petrols.

It's a shame that high end cars like Octavia, Superb, Kodiaq etc. don't get a manual. • DQ200 DSG transmission has a history of poor reliability & breakdowns in India • Narrow width makes a 5th adult completely unwelcome.
